Hello,
Sorry for writing in English but it looks like your forum is pretty active and plenty of good advice.
I have an installation to water my lawn (4 rainbird 5004 + some small sprinkler).
Installation is like this :
2.5 m height aspiration PEHD 40 --> pump --> prescontroll --> filter 300 µm 1''1/2 --> 10 meter height up & 35 meter long PEHD 32 --> Solenoid valve Rainbird 100DV --> loop of 45 meter long PEHD 32 with 4 rainbird 5004
I had a DAB K35/40m + Presscontrol FSC 15 (photo here and here)
It appear that the DAB was not powerful enough. So I bought this pump : Nocchi Pentair Multi Evo 5-50-A (N4254150)
Max pressure : 8 bars
Specification (curve N°8) : https://www.starite.it/fileadmin/star…ULTI_EVO_EN.pdf
Now this one looks too powerful When I open a water tap and when the pump start, peak of pressure is so high that it opens the solenoid valve for 1 or 2 seconds!
Also, I kept my old FSC15 Presscontrol and he has some leakage so I plan to replace it.
Now the questions!
- Do you think it could be a good idea to put a security valve like this in between my pump and the presscontrol?
Idea would be to take one with a set up at 5 or 6 bars and to send extra water back to my source. So it would act like a pressure regulator but without making my pump forcing.
- I plan to change my old presscontrol.
Does all presscontrol have springs to limit water hammer effect?
How to know if different presscontrol have a (very) small water tank inside it or not? (In order to be a bit more tolerant to small water leakage)
I was wondering if I stick to something similar to current one, for around 35€:
- https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B01I4Z7JE2/
Or I go to this one for around 75€ which seems better quality + 12 bar instead of 10 + has the benefit to have automatic reset but it seems that it do not have room for a anti water hammer system : https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07B7ZQCYL/
Or what seems to be the best one but probably overkill for around 100€ : ServoPress LT SET https://www.ebaraeurope.com/de/produkt/servopress-de/
If you have any advice or opinion to share, I would be glad!
Thanks and have a nice day
